Unrelenting Childhood Dreams

There's little that excite me more than a plane ride. I long to be with the clouds, masked as glaciers suspended in the skies, as I approach an unfamiliar land where new adventures await. And reading through a piece of my own writing that seem to compliment the existence of language truly gives me an almost unparalleled sense of satisfaction.

To travel and to write - I guess that I've decided upon these since I was little. The more I think about it, the more I realise that I have never actually discarded the playful visions I had of my future self when I was younger. I simply tucked them in a corner of my heart, and left them there while I skipped along the path of exploration and self-discovery. It seems that this only made them grow in strength, understanding, and purpose. I've come to realise that a traveller's journey does not begin only with a plane ride. As long as the eyes are willing to wander, and the mind is willing to contemplate, it takes place daily. And to write, is more than just befriending letters. With the stories they convey, written words educate.

So with this in mind, I am back in the blogosphere. Hello :)
